Elon Musk’s true vision for self-driving cars isn’t safety—it’s AFK commuting.
Musk wants Tesla owners to go completely hands-off and do anything but drive. The goal? Make traffic a thing of the past by turning roads into mobile internet cafés.
One Tesla beta tester bragged:
"I left my car running and went inside to make a sandwich. By the time I came back, I had arrived at work and self-driving cars earned an achievement for it."
Tesla is pushing for a future Battle Royale where commuting is just another idle game—one where real-world experience points are earned by literally doing nothing.
